Erin Elair Moriarty (born June 24, 1994) is an American actress. She is known for her role as Annie January / Starlight in the Amazon Prime Video series The Boys (2019–present). Prior to The Boys, she had notable roles in Netflix's Jessica Jones (2015), HBO's True Detective (2014), and ABC's Red Widow (2013). Outside of television, she has appeared in acclaimed independent films The Kings of Summer and Captain Fantastic, among others.

Diagnosed with Graves’ disease, which she has cited as influencing appearance alongside lifestyle factors. Her 2025 diagnosis adds a credible natural explanation: untreated hyperthyroidism (the core of Graves’) commonly causes rapid, unintentional weight loss and loss of facial fat, which can hollow out the cheeks and sharpen features in a way that mimics buccal fat removal or even facial liposuction. Many sources note this exact effect; patients often look “gaunt” or more contoured during active phases. Treatment typically leads to weight regain (which seems evident in some of her more recent photos), softening the face again.

Public speculation surrounds breast augmentation (~2022-2023) and facial enhancements, based on photo comparisons.
